2nd ANFACO & Banco Sabadell Foundation Design Award

The Foundation has given out the 2nd ANFACO & Banco Sabadell Foundation Design Award in order to recognise and foster creative talent among young designers and give them an opportunity to showcase their work.

  • This design will be used on the sleeves of tins used in the campaign to encourage people to eat more tinned fish and seafood, called “Cata la Lata”, over the coming year. In addition to the winner, 9 other finalists have been selected and included in a digital catalogue together with the award-winning design.
  • Victoria Ochoa was awarded for her packaging design, “CONTINUI-T”, for its original graphics and versatile usage.

“I am thrilled to have received this award, I never thought I would be able to have this type of experience this early on in my career. Being selected out of a group of such talented people is definitely a sign that I have chosen the right path and that I need to keep on working hard and learning as much as I can. This is why I am so grateful that there are opportunities like this one where students’ work is recognised and they are given a platform from which they can showcase their talent going forward”
