6th Banco Sabadell Foundation Award for Science and Engineering

We discover and support the talent of young researchers resident in Spain in fields such as mathematics, chemistry, physics and engineering.

Dr Samuel Sánchez, PhD in Chemistry from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, ICREA lecturer and honorary professor at HIT in Harbin, China, and associate professor at POSTECH, South Korea, received the award for his outstanding track record in pioneering interdisciplinary research. He is a leader in the field of nanorobotics, an innovative field with impact from basic science to its applications, ranging from chemistry’s fundamentals to their applications in both the biomedical and environmental spheres. This award is organised in collaboration with the Barcelona Institute of Science and Technology (BIST).
