#YoCreoTalento – Open group to experiment with cinema and technology with Tabakalera, ‘Celera’ talent accelerator, and Musical Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme with the Reina Sofía School of Music.

Experiments with cinema and technology (‘Experimentación en torno al cine y tecnología’) in Tabakalera

A new open group will be experimenting with cinema and technology until June 2019 in Tabakalera, with the aim of critically reflecting on the use of technology applied to moving images and sounds and proposing a creative use for these materials.

This open group is a meeting space in which people come together to propose open research in order to raise awareness, carry out projects and create a community.

Young people’s projects from the ‘Celera’ programme

During the first half of 2018, the young participants of the talent accelerator ‘Celera’ have taken part in various initiatives including Summer Challenge, EstoNoEsUnaCharla and generational and inter-generational workshops.

During the Summer Challenge, 9 participants, or ‘celerados’, have worked together to find a solution to problems related to access to drinking water and healthcare which are currently affecting people in Ethiopia. You can watch a brief summary of their work here:

5 projects in the Second Musical Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (‘II Programa de Emprendimiento e Innovación Musical’) at the Reina School of Music

21 students of the Reina Sofía School of Music have taken part in the second edition of the Musical Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme which we are supporting. These are the 5 projects that have been developed during the programme:

-‘Sens’,a multi-sensory concert that aims to encourage new audiences to discover classical music. The students designed a unique event for small groups of 12 people: they covered their eyes and exposed them to different tastes, smells… offering them a chance to awaken their senses and enjoy a one-of-a-kind concert experience.

-‘Music-in’, a project to promote musical education in schools using virtual reality technology.

-‘SonArte’, musical workshops for autistic children.

-‘Feeling the bits’, a concert held at the Espacio Fundación Telefónica aimed at young audiences.

-‘Just Music’, a concert held in the streets as part of International Music Day on June 21st.
