More than 160 talented young people participate in IBStage Barcelona

Until August 31 the International Dance Programme IBStageis welcoming more than 160 talented young persons. During 15 intensive days renowned teachers and choreographers of classic ballet from international schools will train these young people, some of whom have received scholarships from the Foundation.

At Banco Sabadell Foundation we have granted different scholarships, with the objective of offering talented young people who aspire to be professional dancers the opportunity to train and perfect their talent under the guidance of some of the most famous professionals in the world of ballet.

This ninth edition of IBStage brings together more than 160 young dancers from ballet schools in Spain, United States, Japan, Great Britain or Italy, amongst others. All of these dancers will perfect their techniques with the help of renowned professionals such as Larissa Lezhnina from HET National Ballet, Ana María Prina from Teatro Alla Scala de Milan School, Bella Ratchinskaia from the Vienna Opera, Samira Saidi artistic director of the English National Ballet and Pompea Santoro from Cullberg Ballet, amongst others.

IBStage Galas

All of the students will share a stage with the main protagonists in the world of dance at two galas which will be held on the 1st and 2nd of September at Teatre Grec in Barcelona, where they will perform “Sleeping Beauty” choreographed by Marius Petipa.
