The Emerging Art Fair JustMad8 is back, and is being held at the Colegio Oficial de Arquitectos de Madrid (COAM) from the 21st to the 26th February. This fair is the perfect opportunity for art lovers and collectors to find paintings, sculptures and photographs…with the objective of giving visibility to, and supporting, contemporary art and proposals for alternative emerging national and international spaces.

This year, the fair will be represented by a total of 14 galleries and artists: Germany, Belgium, Brazil, China, Colombia, Cuba, Slovakia, United States, Spain, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Russia and Venezuela.

New in this year’s JustMad8.

One of the new additions in this year’s JustMad8 is Curated Venture, curated by Tim Goossens, a new section in which the visitors will be presented with different dialogues between the works of an artist represented by a Spanish gallery and the works of an international artist. In total, 15 artists and national galleries will be hosting dialogues with 15 non-resident artists in Spain, with the objective of creating opportunities for collaboration in an international environment, giving more visibility and impact for artists.

‘Entre si’ – Pilar Sagarra

The section for electronic art is another one of the new additions this year, under the name Just Tech, comprised of four galleries which work with ‘New Media’ artists and is curated for the not for profit association EX, electronic and experimental art association. The galleries which are participating are EX (Madrid), Ada Gallery (Richmond, Virgina), Postmasters (New Work) and LA Projects (Madrid).
