Banco Sabadell Foundation opens the call for the awards in Biomedical and Economic Research

After eleven years the Banco Sabadell Foundation award for Biomedical Research has become of the reference awards in the field of biomedicine. The aim is to encourage and recognise the work of young Spanish researchers in the fields of biomedicine and health sciences.

The Foundation is also opening a call to help pre-doctoral students. Specifically, there are 15 research grants designed to promote the development of scientific work in the fields of economic, business, legal and social knowledge. The grants can be applied for by all young, aspiring pre-doctoral students of Spanish nationality, who are in writing their doctoral thesis in any Spanish or foreign university. The aim of these grants is to promote and develop scientific work or visits at universities or other Spanish or foreign research centres.

Banco Sabadell Foundation Award for Biomedical Research: the annual award is 50.000 euros. Proposals can be sent in Spanish or in English, the deadline is 30th April 2016.

Banco Sabadell Foundation Award for Economic Research: the annual award is 30.00 euros. Proposals can be sent in Spanish or English, the deadline is 30th April 2016.

Research Grants: the individual amount of the grants is 6.000 euros, subject to Budget and the circumstances of each proposal. The application process closes on 1st March 2016.
