On July 18th we will be handing out the thirteenth Banco Sabadell Foundation Award for Biomedical Research and the second Award for Science and Engineering, to recognise the professional achievements of young researchers in these fields.

Over the years, we have awarded prestigious scientists for their work in combatting diseases such as cancer through the use of innovative techniques in the fields of biomedicine, health sciences, economics, business and social sciences, mathematics, chemistry, physics and engineering.

Researchers such as: Dr Eduard Batlle, Dr Núria López-Bigas, Dr Borja Ibáñez and Dr Romain Quidant, among others.
