The Banco Sabadell Foundation and ANFACO-CECOPESCA have signed an agreement to launch the First ANFACO & Banco Sabadell Foundation Design Award, which aims to recognise and nurture creative talent among young designers and offer them a unique opportunity to exhibit their work. The award seeks to select the best designs for the commemorative poster to celebrate 115 years of ANFACO-CECOPESCA, based on the slogan “CATA LA LATA” (‘Taste the tin’), which will be displayed at the ANFACO Museum during 2019.
Candidates can submit their designs between 1 October and 14 December 2018 through the Banco Sabadell Foundation website (Grants & Awards section). Designers from all nationalities under the age of 35 and who have studied design in any design school in Spain may take part. A jury formed of recognised professionals from the sector will select the 10 finalist candidates and subsequently the winning candidate.
“CATA LA LATA” is the slogan under which ANFACO-CECOPESCA will be carrying out actions to promote the use of tinned fish and seafood as part of their campaign with which they aim to increase the consumption of tinned food and carry out actions to raise awareness about the excellent quality of tinned fish and seafood among consumers, restaurateurs, consumer associations, the media and government agencies.
