#YoCreoTalento ‘Meetings famous artists’ At the Reina Sofia Music School; ‘Verni’ at Espai 13 Joan Miró Foundation; ‘Young cellists’ finalists of the International Pau Casals Award

Andrés Orozco-Estrada kicked off the change to meet famous artists as part of the Programa de Emprendimiento Reina Sofía Music School

The students from the Entrepreneurship, Leadership and Innovation Programme which are implementing together with the Reina Sofía Music School, have participated in the first meeting with famous artists, one of the new aspects of this third edition.

Orchestra conductor Andrés Orozco-Estrada participated in the first meeting, who has shared the experiences which market the start of his professional career, and has encouraged young musicians to be persistent in their projects.

Lara Fluxà presents ‘Verni’ at Espai 13

Verni’ is the new installation proposed by Espai 13 at the Joan Miró Foundation, by artist Lara Fluxà, where she examines the imaginarium of accident and catastrophe, as well as its relationship with knowledge, economy and power.

The project forms part of the cycle “A monster comes to see you” which reflects on the nature of disciplines and delves into the relationship between knowledge and power.

Six finalists of the International Pau Casals Award for Young Cellists

The International Pau Casals Award for Young Cellists has the objective of supporting young talent, offering recognition, economic support, musical advice and artistic promotion, through a schedule of activities in unique spaces and occasions in order for them to be known. There are four Spanish finalists, one North American finalist and one Chinese finalist.

The final test will be retransmitted via streaming from the Fundación Pau Casals website on Monday 26 November, in a public audition at the Municipal School of Music Pau Casals del Vendrell.
