The Banco Sabadell Foundation has a dreamer for Imagine 7 Islands 2016

Paula Álvarez is the first Dreamer chosen to take part in the tourism innovation program Imagine 7 Islands. She won her place after winning the highest ‘elevator pitch’ competition in the world in the cable car at 3,718 metres of the Teide volcano.

The competition, organised by the Imagine Foundation, the Banco Sabadell Foundation and the Science Park of Tenerife saw the participation of 342 candidacies via an announced over the Internet. The winner becomes the Dreamer of the Banco Sabadell Foundation.

Imagine 7 Islands is an innovation program across the 7 Canary Islands with the participation of 12 dreamers selected via talent competitions with the aim of generating innovative ideas for the tourist sector. An ‘innovation trip’ will take place from 3 to 17 March 2016 and will cover the 7 islands: Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura, Lanzarote, La Gomera, Isla de la Palma, El Hierro and Tenerife.

For the two weeks the program lasts, the 12 dreamers (divided into four teams) will be supported by 15 mentors and experts to solve the four challenges posed by tourist companies and entities. The Banco Sabadell Foundation supports this program to incentivise innovation and talent among young people.
