‘+Humans’, reveals the limits and future of the human condition

Evolution or extinction? What does being human mean today? What will humanity be life within a hundred years? Technological potential is making swift progress… should we continue to modify out bodies, our minds and our daily life or are there limits we should not cross?

Questions without answers, or not. As from today and until 10 April 2016, the Centre for Contemporaneous Culture of Barcelona (CCCB) hosts the exhibition “+Humans” inviting us to reflect on the future of the human species.

The Banco Sabadell Foundation collaborates with this exhibition to underline the importance of innovation in our day-to-day life. As stated by the President of the Foundation, Miquel Molins, “this is an exhibition for discovering where the limit is between our human condition and the possibilities of technology”.

In parallel with the exhibition, the CCCB has organised activities around +Humanos with the aim of reflecting on where we are heading: Meetings with the artists, experiments with robotics, neurotechnology, virtual reality, meetings with biohackers, film cycles and a major program of conversations and debates.
