Prof David Pérez García wins the 3rd Edition of Banco Sabadell Foundation Award for Science and Engineering, and Dr Arkaitz Carracedo Pérez wins the 14th Edition of the Biomedical Research Award

Dr Arkaitz Carracedo Pérez, PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the Complutense University of Madrid, has been recognised for his innovative contribution to the field of oncology through his pioneering work that seeks to understand the development of prostate cancer.//

Prof David Pérez García, PhD in Mathematics from the Complutense University of Madrid, has been recognised for his contributions in Mathematics and Quantum Information, including the mathematical development of tensor theory applied to condensed matter.//

Both awards, which give out 50,000 euros each, aim to recognise the career of young researchers. The award ceremony will take place on July 2nd.

Team work to train young people in the health sector

Several young people have participated in a team building week at the third edition of the d·HEALTH Barcelona masters program with the aim of training themselves to become health experts. The program is an initiative of Biocat, in collaboration with Banco Sabadell Foundation to promote talent.
