Until Sunday 1 October, over 80 artists and representatives of 70 art galleries from all over the world will come together at Swab Barcelona, the international contemporary art fair, in order to exhibit the pieces that best represent contemporary art. New features and aspects of this year’s tenth edition include an edible stand, the participation for the very first time of Brazil and a brand new international selection committee. This year, all things independent take centre stage, including self-managed spaces such as La Trastera, which began in a garage of a house in Segur de Calafell.
Swab Barcelona will be a meeting point in which to discover today’s most innovative artistic proposals and meet local and international artists from all artistic fields, as well as consolidated artists such as Carlos Pazos, Joan Fontcuberta, James Rielly and Laura Bruce.
