The Vallès Symphonic Orchestra will play Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Torroella Festival

August 2nd marks the 40th anniversary of the Torroella Festival in Ter, Torroella de Montgrí, with ‘Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5’. The Torroella de Montgrí Festival will be kicking off its Summer 2020 programme with a concert to pay homage to the victims of COVID-19. Invitees to this fundraising
concert include health workers, civil servants, fire-fighters and social entities, among others, from Torroella. The monographic programme will be dedicated to Beethoven, as this year marks the 250th anniversary of his birth. The Vallés Symphonic Orchestra will be the concert’s protagonist and the famous Symphony No. 5 will be its key piece. Xavier Puig will be conducting the orchestra.
