The Banco Sabadell Historical Archives (AHBS for its acronymn in Spanish) includes Group documentation and objects of special interest for research into Catalan and Spanish history in the XIX and XX centuries.

Highlights of the archive include a collection of old banking machines,  which explain the evolution of the entity’s operations to date, as well as a collection of shares held by financial institutions, industrial companies and public bodies, such as the Mancomunitat de Catalunya. Furthermore, constitutive documentation can also be found in the archive, accounting records, advertising material etc. Apart from restoration activities and digitalisation of objects which are in less durable formats, the AHBS is dedicating significant effort to an oral history project to recover the memory of the entity through its employees.
