#SamplerSeries, new music festival

El Esmuc Ensemble y Sampler Series offer a double concert, in which the protagonists are talented young musicians from the Escuela Superior de Música de Cataluña (ESMUC) as part of the Emergents festival.. It will take place this Wednesday, 11 April, from 20.00 at L’Auditori de Barcelona.

We are supporting the Sampler Series in its commitment to new creation through different concerts which range from written music to free improvisation, acoustic instruments to electronic devices, performance music to sound installations and video creation.

‘Experiencia del coleccionismo familiar. La Modernidad en el Sur’, at Casa de América, Madrid

This recently inaugurated exhibition allows us to appreciate the different visions of artists whose works reveal how new their contributions were, as well as the validity and relevance which many of their ideas still conserve. You can visit this exhibition until 31 May at Casa de América, Madrid.

The exhibition brings together a selection of works from the heritage of this family, which introduced modernism into Cuban poetry with significant artistic sensitivity. The majority of the collection, which was started in the 50’s, is available thanks to the generosity of the artists, especially the contemporary artists.

International Art Day, Art Days at the Contemporary Art Centre Bòlit.

This weekend, 14-15 April, the Contemporary Art Centre Bòlit in Girona is hosting one hundred cultural and artistic activities on the occasion of the International Art Day. A multidisciplinary schedule of activities is offered, with the objective of strengthening and bringing art and culture closer, through activities aimed at all ages, including art itineraries, shows, workshops, exhibitions, concerts, conferences, gastronomy and performances, amongst other activities.
