‘Structure of identity’ at Foto Colectania

Exhibition ‘’Structures of identity is the new exhibition hosted by Foto Colectania, which uses portraiture to reflect on how photography in different cultures and periods have been used to affirm or pass judgement on social stereotypes on gender, social class or nationality.

To do so, it showcases more than 100 messages of renowned masters such as August Sander, Richard Avedon or Seydou Keïta, together with contemporary photographers such as Samuel Fosso, Zanele Muholi or Zhang Huan.

Art<35, is stopping in Madrid to showcase the talent of 10 young artists

The Art<35 exhibition at the Sala Parés in Barcelona will be travelling to Madrid until 26 november and can be visited at the Sala de Exposiciones of the Facultad de Bellas Artes at the Complutense University in Madrid.

It is an exhibition which showcases the work of 10 young finalists from the competition, supported by Banco Sabadell Foundation, to strengthen and recognise the talent of artists aged under 35, to publicise and generate awareness of their work. This competition promotes the incorporation of the works of these artists in art collections, favouring the professional relationship of young artists with the world of art galleries and entities which promote exhibitions.
