The Dentro Cine School is a project that takes place in Cineteca Madrid, as part of the Matadero Madrid schedule of programmes, which aims to promote culture as an element for the common good and to support courses of action that foster the promotion of culture in a free and accessible way for everyone. It is the first ever film school designed to be therapeutic, communal and free of charge for teenagers and young people at risk of social exclusion between the ages of 16 and 23 who are unemployed, have no training and/or have no family support. It is an experimental project that aims to educate vulnerable young people in art through film, with the dual aim of training them in the practice and language of film, and providing them with tools for dialogue, self-exploration, expression, and empowerment.

Dentro Cine has an enormous positive impact on the lives of those who take part, both in a professional sense and in terms of their mental health. This transformative effect can also reach audiences, who watch the films produced by the School and learn about their work processes through the public activities organised to that end, allowing them to realise the potential of this inclusive way of working.
