For another year, the Misteri d’Elx will be performing its traditional Christmas concert with singing by the Juvenil choir and the Escolanía, who will be performing popular Christmas carols. It will take place this Friday, 22nd December, at the Basílica de Santa María de Elche at 21.30.

The Misteri d’Elx is a cultural treasure of Elche and one of the most valuable items of Valencian heritage, as proved through its declaration as a National Monument in 1931 and its inclusion, in 2001, in the first Proclamation of Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.
