Temporary exhibitions and the 30th Anniversary of the Institut Valencià d'Art Modern (IVAM).

  • ‘Times of upheaval. Stories and micro-stories’ in the IVAM collection. Exhibition organised around six main themes which bring together a substantial number of works by different artists from the IVAM collection
  • ‘Fernando Léger y la vida moderna’. IVAM presented the first major Fernand Léger retrospective on display in a Spanish museum in the last twenty years. The exhibition assembled around one hundred works, including paintings, drawings, etchings, textiles, film and photography, created by the artist between 1918 and 1955, the year of his death.
  • ‘A barbarian in Europe’ an exhibition of work by Jean Dubuffet, which consists of a meticulous selection of around two hundred works that offer an approach to his work from a new perspective based on history, culture and anthropology.
