Bermejo, rebel genius of the XV century
The Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya (MNAC) hosted an exhibition of the work of ‘Bartolomé Bermejo’, previously shown at the Museo del Prado de Madrid.
- His work stands out for its extraordinary technical accomplishment and its iconographic originality.
- The exhibition assembled work from a variety of museums worldwide.
- ‘Piedad Desplà’, is one of his masterpieces, restored in 2016 thanks to the collaboration of the Banco Sabadell Foundation.
