#Demos2018, second event for foundations and civil society groups
The Spanish Association of Foundations (SAF) has organised this second event, which brought together more than 800 persons looking for solutions which make our world better. Furthermore, more than 80 experts from sectors such as technology, education, science, sports or philanthropy participated, to share their knowledge of how to overcome current challenges and “activate” the general public.

Cinema of the future
The Foundation has implemented, together with Tabakalera de San Sebastián, an open experimentation group on cinema and technology, with the objective of reflecting on the critical way of using applied technology to images and sound in movement, proposing creative uses.

Disruptive ideas, dreams that come true
In total, Banco Sabadell Foundation has offered scholarships to 8 young people which have participated in different innovation programmes as part of Imagine, an entity which looks for disruptive ideas, to turn them into real projects.

Drone technology with a social impact
The HEMAV Foundation is implementing, with the collaboration of the Foundation, a scholarship programme aimed at students with the objective of ensuring that young people have the resources that they need to get them ready to be future professionals of drone technology.

II Banco Sabadell Foundation Award for Science and Engineering
Banco Sabadell Foundation granted the II Award for Science and Engineering, in collaboration with BIST (Barcelona Institute of Science and Technology) to strengthen recognition of young researchers who are residents in Spain in disciplines such as maths, chemistry, physics and engineering.
