Team work to train young people in the health sector

Divided into three teams of multidisciplinary students, some of them have described the experience as “a few days of introspection, of understanding and comparing the different ways of thinking”, explains Xenia Villalobos, masters student, doctorate in Biomedicine.

Vanesa Nogales, doctorate in Biomedicine, researching into the epigenetic of cancer, is another student who highlights her experience of working in a team, as she ensures us that “these past few days have taught us that today’s society is unpredictable, which is why the new leaders should be educated in such a way that they know how to organise themselves in changing environments, knowing how to navigate through the chaos.” Vanesa, aged 27, highlights and values this experience as “help in developing themselves as innovators, staying together developing a product that covers current medical demand and improving the quality of patients lives.” “Thanks to the team building week we have been able to lay the groundwork to form a team which is ready to learn for the remainder of the d·HEALTH Barcelona program”.
