Emerging musical talent at the Torrella Fringe Festival

The Torroella de Mongrí Fringe Festival is approaching its third edition, becoming the event of the summer for watching young musical talents in Catalonia. During three days, different areas of Torroella and the Estartit shall play host to 80 musicians from some of the best music conservatories and advanced schools of music in Europe, who will give 25 concerts from a variety of musical styles, from classic to pop-rock, with contemporary music, jazz, blues, flamenco and folk.

This year’s artists were selected by the Escuela Superior de Música de Cataluña (ESMUC), the Taller de Músics, the Graduate Conservatory of the Liceo, the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London and the Hochschule für Musik Freiburg, with collaboration from the Goethe Institut.
