Exhibitions, conferences, artistic interventions…discover everything that Pabellón Mies van der Rohe has to offer you

At the Foundation we are collaborating with the schedule of events at the Pabellón Mies van der Rohe in Barcelona, with the objective of promoting artistic and cultural interventions. It is a space which aims to drive debates, and boost diffusion and sensitivity to topics relating to architecture and contemporary urbanism. Furthermore, the study of works by Ludwing Mies van der Rohe and the Modern Movement are also shared at this space. To do so, different activities which are open to the public have been organised, such as, for example, awards, conventions, conferences, exhibitions, workshops and installations.

The most noteworthy upcoming activities are as follows:

-From 22 to 25 September: open door events based on the Mercè festival

-From 28 September to 1 October: artistic intervention *folding cosmos, by Miwako Kurashima. *Folding Cosmos is all about a trip to the cosmos, which brings together different works of art, and also offers an opportunity to experience the tea ceremony (Bontemae) to appreciate the knowledge which can lead us to transcend to Everything, offering us the possibility to form part of it.

-October: artistic intervention with music at the Pabellón and presentation of the publication of ‘Barcelona Mies 1929’.

-November: artistic intervention ‘Mies>Model>Maqueta’ by A&EB
