In the eighth edition of the programme, the Banco Sabadell Foundation is granting 8 scholarships to young talented ballerinas with limited financial resources to take part in this programme. The course will take place in the Institut del Teatre and will end with two IBStage Galas in the Gran Teatro del Liceu de Barcelona, where promising ballet dancers will have a chance to share the stage with leading professionals in the field. During the three weeks of the course, high-level ballet classes will be held, together with pointe work, variations, contemporary dance, bodywork techniques and pilates. IBStage has become one of the most renowned Summer programmes in the world.

In search of talent

IBStage brings together renowned masters of classic ballets from large international schools such as ABT, SFB, ROH, RBS, Mariinski, Bolshoi, Paris Opera and ENBS, amongst others, all in search of Spanish talent on stage. Participants will have the opportunity to receive scholarships to attend famous international academies, and even a work contract in large ballet companies.

The selection process started in April with auditions in person held in Barcelona and Madrid, and video auditions will be held from 1^st July. For more information about the process, visit the website.
