The programme will also include pieces by two of the most representative composers of the European panorama.

On Friday 7 April, the Catalonia College of Music (ESMUC) and Sampler Series will bring you ‘American Music’, a concert of American music led by the contemporary music ensemble from ESMUC.

And in May: on 6 May at the Santa Mònica Arts Centre, ‘Nou Ensemble, Frames Percussión, Axel Dörner and Ramon Prats’; on 18 May at the Auditorium, Luis Codera Puzo, Sampler Series’ guest composer this season, presents Empor, a lengthy piece for soprano soloist and ensemble, in collaboration with Stuttgart’s ECLAT festival and the Ernst von Siemens Musikstiftung Foundation; also on the 18th, Keith Fullerton Whitman, one of the key figures of the modular synthesisers scene will play his critically acclaimed album, Playthroughs, in a unique session.
