Schedule for weekend of 3rd March: exhibitions, speeches and workshops

This weekend is the last weekend for 2 exhibitions. One of them is in Barcelona, ‘Ser plural. Yo soy los otros, los otros son yo’ (‘Be plural. I am everyone else and everyone else is me’), the new virtual installation in Espai 13 of the Joan Miró Foundation as part of the cycle of exhibitions ‘One foot out. Exhibitions and diasporas’, which gives an analytical perspective through the work of six young artists in the diaspora. The second exhibition that will be closing its doors this weekend can be visited in the Municipal Archaeological Museum of Casa del Parque Crevillente, ‘Stone guardians’, prepared by MARQ, in homage to 230 castles and fortifications in the province of Alicante.

Another recommended cultural event is taking place in Valencia, with the opening of the World Press Photo exhibition. The exhibition is open until 12th March at the Chirivella Soriano Foundation. This edition is intended to reflect on the refugee crisis with the ‘Podrías ser tú’ (It could be you) campaign.

And in Alicante you can see the fourth edition of the international contemporary photography festival, PHOTOALICANTE. This festival includes 17 exhibitions, 11 urban interventions, 6 workshops, 4 conferences and up to 13 activities, until 2nd April.
