New awards and financial assistance options available! Biomedicine, Economy, Science and Engineering and Research Grants

Today, 1 February 2017, marks the start of four new awards and financial assistance options in the sectors of biomedicine, health sciences, economy, science and engineering and scientific research. For the first time, this year we are launching the first edition of the Banco Sabadell Foundation Science and Engineering Award, which seeks to incentivise and recognise the work of Spanish researchers in this field.

The Banco Sabadell Foundation Award for Biomedical Research aims to incentivise and recognise the work of Spanish researchers under the age of 42 in the field of biomedicine and health sciences. Candidates can submit their projects for the award’s twelfth edition between 1st February and 30th April.

The Banco Sabadell Foundation Award for Science and Engineering aims to incentivise and recognise the work of Spanish researchers under the age of 43 in the field of science and engineering. Candidates can submit their projects for the award’s twelfth edition between 1st February and 31st March.

The Banco Sabadell Foundation Award for Economic Research recognises the work of Spanish researchers under the age of 40 in the fields of economic, corporate and social knowledge, to contribute to the analysis and preparation of alternatives that promote social welfare. Candidates can submit their projects for the award’s sixteenth edition between 1st February and 30th April.

The 15 Research Grants are intended to support scientific research, in the fields of economic, corporate, legal and social knowledge, of Spanish pre-PHD students who are currently working on their doctoral thesis in any university in Spain or abroad. Candidates can submit their projects between 1st February and 1st March.
